My moniker on the osCommerce forum is Chemo as it is across many internet discussion forums. I have been coding PHP for 4 years and have worked as a webmaster for several high-volume osCommerce based sites. My specialty is creating custom scripts and optimizing for speed. I have been coding for the osCommerce software since before the MS1 days :) and have been active on their forum since early 2003. I have made well over 500 custom scripts for clients and have posted about 25 as contributions for the community. In addition, I have released at least 30 or 40 more under various other monikers or anonymous handle.

Directory submissions drive spider traffic to your site and ensure a deeper crawl. Only with good backlinks will spiders index every page in your site. Useful osC Tools / Services This tool is currently under development as a future replacement for the stock osCommerce search function. As the number of contributions installed by a store owner increases the less relevant the search becomes. Currently, it can be used to check a stores meta and page content. In addition, it has a selectable user agent (Googlebot, Chemo's Spider, and Firefox) and is a highly effective test for osCsid settings. This tool allows developers to exchange code easily. Simply paste the code into the bin and allow someone to submit revisions. |
